If you've read anything previously by Ed Harris, you will know he's a mensch - a mensch that will make you laugh, and maybe, just a little bit, reflect on life's foibles and joys. Certainly one of those joys is reading this book.
I can only recommend to my fellow readers what I am sure Ed's mother Mrs. Harris would want you to do, "Buy my son Edward's book!"

This was a really great read that I had trouble putting down once I picked it up. Luckily, the chapters were short so it was easy to take breaks, a definite good read for someone like myself who takes a the bus everywhere and constantly have to move my attention from. The book discusses a lot of facets of youth we otherwise take for granted and only realize later on in life. A great recommendation for my friends and anyone in their youth. Look forward to other reads from this author!
After finding myself suffering from a case of insomnia at 300 in the morning, I decided to download "Now They Tell Me 50 Life Lessons I Didn't Learn in School". I was hoping for a light and entertaining read that would relax my mind, and I found the book to deliver all of that and more. It was easy to read and made me laugh hysterically out loud. The wit is sharp and the situations are both ridiculous and true, easy to relate to. The stories of injustice, economics, politics, religion, and sexual orientation are told with skill, humor, and heart, making it easy to recommend this book to anyone.
I'm looking forward to reading it and learning some new stuff. At my age, it's always a plus to learn something new!
I guess it is never too late to do so, and this is what Harriss is doing in his book.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I thought each chapter had an insightful lesson, but told in a humorous way. I appreciated how each chapter was short and dedicated to a new lesson, making it easy to read on the go or in between daily duties. I would definitely recommend this book! It is witty, funny, and honest. I'm sure everyone could relate to something in this book.
